• Oct. 18 – Manawa School District requested a welfare check on a juvenile whose mother kept her home because they were in fear of the mother’s former male companion.
• Oct. 18 – An unknown caller reported the illegal dumping of three tires.
• Oct. 18 – A Manawa woman on Depot Street reported illegal burning that smelled like garbage and produced a black smoke.
• Oct. 18 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• Oct. 18 – A Weyauwega woman on Hillside Drive reported two suspicious men in the area who said they were working on cable lines. When asked for identification they said they did not have any.
• Oct. 18 – A Waupaca caller on Lamplighter Lane reported damage to a chandelier, wind chimes and other yard decorations. She called in the next day reporting more damage.
• Oct. 18 – A Waupaca caller on Bartlett Street reported a male on probation was at a bar and he threatened the caller saying he was going to “have everyone at the bar jump her.”
• Oct. 19 – Wolves Den bar and Grill in Manawa reported four people the bar yelling at each other.
• Oct. 19 – A cell phone caller reported a suspicious bronze four-door vehicle idling for over an hour on Lake Street in Weyauwega. People were inside the vehicle.
• Oct. 19 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk E reported he was asked to give a group of kids a ride to the Dollar Tree. He dropped them off and it seemed suspicious.
• Oct. 19 – A New London caller on Bear Lake Road requested extra patrol because people were throwing alcohol cans in his driveway.
• Oct. 19 – A Waupaca caller on Draeger Road reported a man was burning a pile of something giving off black smoke and the same man was trespassing on his property and was photographed on the caller’s trail camera.
• Oct. 19 – A Waupaca man on Session Street reported a missing child.
• Oct. 19 – A Waupaca man on McCrossen Road reported someone opened a credit card in his name at a bank in Sunnyvale, Calif.
• Oct. 19 – A Fremont caller on State Road reported some shooting at the end of his road.
• Oct. 19 – A New London woman on State Road reported someone has been taking her mail for the past 15 days.
• Oct. 19 – An Iola caller requested an ambulance for a woman who fell off a horse and was bleeding from the head.
• Oct. 19 – A New London woman on County Trunk B reported her mother wants to overdose with pills. They took the pills away but the mother left heading towards Manawa.
• Oct. 19 – A Waupaca man on Nichols Road reported a side-by-side UTV damaged a parking lot by doing donuts. The caller had video and knows who it was.
• Oct. 20 – An Iola woman on State Highway 49 reported when they asked a Hispanic worker on the property to leave, he locked himself in the basement with a knife and made suicidal comments in Spanish, his only language.
• Oct. 20 – A Waupaca man on Brittany Lane reported two men were hunting with rifles and shot a deer. That season is not open yet.
• Oct. 20 – A woman reported being told to meet at an address and give a man an Apple gift card. She believed it was a scam.
• Oct. 20 – A Marion man on Missal Lane reported fraudulent transactions happening with his bank account.
• Oct. 20 – An anonymous caller reported a female homeowner and a few friends were high on methamphetamine and screaming inside the house.
• Oct. 21 – Harters Fox Valley Disposal reported a garbage truck hit a power line, drug it down and the line was wrapped around the tailgate of the truck.
• Oct. 21 – A Waupaca man on Berkshire Lane reported a neighbor was throwing things into his yard and burning them.
• Oct. 21 – A Waupaca caller on Golke Road reported her father was making threats against her husband, saying, “You will never see your husband again.”
• Oct. 21 – An unknown caller reported finding a shotgun in the ditch by Gills Landing.
• Oct. 21 – A Manawa caller on State Highway 22-110 reported someone picked his locks, entered his house and took some checks.
• Oct. 21 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile tried to hang himself with a belt.
• Oct. 21 – A Marion caller on Hillcrest Drive reported her neighbors had a fire going despite a county-wide burn ban because of the dry weather.
• Oct. 21 – A female caller requested a welfare check on a woman that posted on Facebook about “death not being scary but what people do to you in life is.”
• Oct. 21 – A New London caller on Elm Street reported her ex-husband was following her around.
• Oct. 21 – An anonymous caller reported a suspicious dark-colored SUV with its hatch opened on Lake Street in Weyauwega.
• Oct. 22 – The Madison Police Department reported they were notified by Dane County 911 that the Wisconsin Suicide Hotline received a 911 call for help from a person in an unknown location. Data indicated it was within Waupaca County.
• Oct. 22 –A Waupaca caller on Western Avenue reported a suspicious red Silverado and the driver looked passed out.
• Oct. 22 – A female caller reported her brother was intoxicated and making suicidal comments because he was not happy that his ex-girlfriend will not move out.
• Oct. 22 – A female reported she paid a landlord rent and was going to move into a new apartment that she discovered was infested with bedbugs. The landlord would not allow her to do anything about the situation.
• Oct. 22 – Advanced Collateral Recovery reported they repossessed a camper from Rustic Woods Campground.
• Oct. 22 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• Oct. 22 – A Manawa man on Howard Street reported a male in the middle of the road stumbling around.
• Oct. 22 – A Waupaca man on Draeger Road reported a was trespassing on his property for the past couple days as photos from his camera indicated.
• Oct. 22 –A Weyauwega man on County Trunk EE reported a house explosion.
• Oct. 22 – A Waupaca caller on Union Street reported a man was outside yelling racial slurs.
• Oct. 23 –A Waupaca man on North Hill Road reported someone opened an LLC in his name.
• Oct. 23 – A Waupaca woman on Pope Road reported the theft of four campaign signs.
• Oct. 23 –A Fremont man on Drake Road reported the illegal dumping of tires in the ditch.
• Oct. 23 – A Bear Creek woman on Blueberry Road reported being scammed by Publisher’s Clearinghouse. She bought Amazon gift cards and lost around $9,000 to $10,000.
• Oct. 23 – The Waupaca County Courthouse reported a disgruntled man wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt who was swearing.
• Oct. 23 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a fight between two juveniles.
• Oct. 23 – The 211 hotline (for health and human services) reported they were on the line with a woman who did not have water for four days and was unable to get a ride into town.
• Oct. 23 – A New London caller on Bear Lake Road reported he was being harassed by a man and woman who were defaming his name in the community. They also harassed him at his workplace.
• Oct. 23 – An Ogdensburg caller on North Water Drive reported she was getting into a car to get away from a man with Alzheimer’s disease. He was “going crazy” and he yelled at her and hit her.
• Oct. 23 – A Bear Creek caller on County Trunk T reported the death of a 66-year-old man.
• Oct. 23 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• Oct. 24 – A Marion man on Hidde Road reported he was having a bad day and needed to go to jail.
• Oct. 24 – A New London woman on Bear Lake Road reported a man was looking in her neighbor’s shed. The caller spoke to him and he said he slept in the woods overnight.
• Oct. 24 –A Fremont woman on State Highway 96 reported the theft of a battery.
• Oct. 24 – Rawhide Youth Services reported three juvenile runaways.
• There were 29 deer-related calls during this period. Zero controlled burns were called in as there was a burn ban in the county. An Ogdensburg woman reported she was bitten by a stray cat. A 911 caller reported loose cows in the road and provided a nearby address.
