• May 5 –A New London man on Rawhide Road reported a suspicious man in his late 40s came to his door and asked for a glass of water. He said was in the woods all night. He asked for a ride. The caller refused.
• May 5 – Midstate Marine in Fremont reported getting two worthless checks that were written from a closed account.
• May 5 – A female caller reported a suspicious man in his 40s and went to a neighbor’s house two doors down from the caller’s residence.
• May 5 –An anonymous caller reported she was calling on behalf of another female whose mother and stepfather were fighting and believed to be using methamphetamine.
• May 5 – A Manawa woman on County Trunk N reported her neighbor’s dog attacked her dog and drew blood.
• May 5 – A female caller reported vehicles were road racing and heading towards Waupaca’s South Park.
• May 5 –A Fremont woman on County Trunk H reported a suspicious man was trying to flag down cars while standing in the middle of the road.
• May 6 – A Waupaca man on State Highway 22-54 reported a suspicious man in a parking lot yelling and screaming profanities and making a gesture across his neck.
• May 6 – A Waupaca man on Raymond Drive requested a welfare check for a schizophrenic man on cocaine.
• May 6 – A Waupaca man on Melody Lane reported three suspicious males with suitcases walked into the woods. The caller drove by later and one male came out of the woods and was picked up by a vehicle.
• May 7 –A New London woman on Cut Off Road reported someone opened an account in her name, she received a bill and the company is refusing to cancel it.
• May 7 –A New London woman on Church Street reported a bloody dog fight.
• May 7 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile stated he was going to harm a female staff member and he punched a male staffer in the face multiple times.
• May 7 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported a suspicious vehicle parked in her driveway.
• May 7 –A Marion man on Garfield Avenue reported his neighbor was talking loud and therefore he could not fall asleep.
• May 9 – Kinney Lake Campground reported their pavilion was vandalized. They caught it on video. The vandal offered to reimburse them for damages but never paid up.
• May 9 – A Waupaca man on Cobbtown Road reported a residence has cats, dogs and ducks that wander into the road and he noticed what appeared to be carcass in the driveway.
• May 9 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a physical altercation between a staff member and a juvenile.
• May 9 – A female caller requested a welfare check on 15 cats and three dogs at a residence. Urine can be smelled when walking up to the house.
• May 9 – Burger King in Waupaca reported two disorderly patrons.
• May 9 – A Fremont man on County Trunk H reported his neighbors were revving their dirt bikes and making a lot of noise.
• May 9 –A Waupaca woman on Covered Bridge Road reported a suspicious man wandering around properties. When asked what he was doing, he was rude and made some gestures.
• May 9 –Taco Bell in Waupaca reported a male driver with a strong alcohol smell on him.
• May 9 –A Waupaca woman on Tilly Lane reported a juvenile took 15 five-milligram tablets of Buspirone, an anti-anxiety drug.
• May 9 – A Waupaca caller on County Trunk Q reported a vehicle was struck by a train and a woman had chest pains.
• May 10 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported the theft of $40 and 12 CDs from a resident’s room.
• May 10 –A Waupaca man on Ebbe Acres Drive reported a suspicious black SUV driving back and forth. Two males got out, left the vehicle and were walking down the road.
• May 10 –A Racine woman reported her son sent her a photo and stated he was going to kill himself in the garage and a vehicle was running.
• May 10 –A Fremont man at Angler’s Campground reported the theft of a flatbed trailer.
• May 10 –A Clintonville man on Hudson Road reported his wife took cash and gold from him. He the background his wife said she didn’t take anything. He thought she might turn violent.
• May 10 –A Clintonville woman on State Highway 45 reported someone was pounding on the door as if they were trying to break in.
• May 11 –A Waupaca woman on McCrossen Road reported a suspicious black Silverado driving around their neighborhood. The caller’s boyfriend spoke to the male driver. The man said he was looking for someone and had slurred speech.
• May 11 –Kwik Trip on County Trunk QQ in Waupaca reported a man smelling of alcohol and struggling to put gas in his vehicle.
• There were nine deer-related calls during this period. Six controlled burns were called in. There was one call about a dog biting an Amazon delivery driver. Cows running loose were reported on County Trunk G. Cows were also reported running wild near County Trunk X and Broadway Street. More free-roaming cows were reported on County Trunk G in Marion. A New London caller helped an escaped baby calf from entering the roadway. On May 10, a sheriff deputy helped a turtle safely cross the road.
