WAUPACA – The City of Waupaca has appointed Julianna Stohs as its new Community and Economic Development Director. Stohs will begin her role on June 23.
“Julianna brings extensive experience from her work with state and federal agencies, offering a fresh and valuable perspective to this role. Her strategic mindset and dedication to building strong partnerships with residents, businesses, and developers will positively serve our community,” said Mayor Brian Smith.
Stohs obtained a master’s degree in public affairs from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has professional experience working for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), Wisconsin Department of Administration, National Endowment for Democracy, and most-recently, the International Republican Institute—a non-partisan institution promoting democracy and good governance abroad.
