Gold Cross adds an ambulance

Posted

WAUPACA – Gold Cross Ambulance Service received approval to add a fifth ambulance to their operations in the western service area which covers most of Waupaca County and Western Outagamie County. The decision, approved by a consortium of municipalities on Wednesday, September 10, reflects a shared commitment to strengthening emergency medical response in the region.
This strategic expansion will improve Gold Cross’s ability to continue to provide timely, life-saving care in this rural area where longer travel distances impact call response times and the demand for ambulatory services is growing.
“We sincerely appreciate the partnership with the municipalities in our western service area,” said Nick Romenesko, Executive Director of Gold Cross Ambulance Service, Inc. “Their support makes it possible for us to provide high-quality emergency care, enhance local response capabilities, and ensure residents receive timely, life-saving treatment and transport. We look forward to continuing this collaboration to meet the community’s evolving needs.”
