Hortonville soccer loses defensive struggle against Kaukauna

The Hortonville Polar Bears girls’ soccer team took on the Kuakauna Ghosts in a battle between two Fox Valley Association rivals on April 29.

Each team struggled to score in the match as they jockeyed for possession of the ball and made great efforts on the defensive side of the field.

Abigail Hayne broke through at the 12-minute mark in the first half as the Ghosts took the 1-0 lead.

It continued to be a defensive struggle as the lone goal was the difference in the contest.
