Looking to get back to the playoffs after back-to-back two-win seasons, the Manawa Wolves went 2-8 in the regular season in 2024 and 1-6 in the Northwoods conference. They will need to replace starters on the offensive and defensive sides to ensure a successful season.

On the offensive side, Braison Zielke, who was second in the Northwoods conference with 781 yards passing, has graduated, guaranteeing a new starter for Manawa.

The Wolves’ leading receiver, Brady Jaeckle, has also graduated after catching 24 passes for 288 yards and a touchdown in his senior season.

Standout Patrick Paque has also moved on after leading Manawa in rushing with 264 yards and contributing two touchdowns. Paque was also a leader on defense as he led the conference in tackles with 135 tackles and forced five fumbles to be named Second-Team All-Northwoods at linebacker.

In his place in the backfield on offense and as a leader on defense will be junior Jacob Kravetz, who is the leading returner in rushing yards with 128, and the leading returner in tackles with 44, and also had six tackles for loss and a sack during his sophomore year in 2024.
