Portage County Highway CTH B road improvement project to resume work

Posted

PLOVER —The CTH B Improvement Project from Interstate 39 to Wisconsin Avenue in the Village of Plover will resume on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The contractor will primarily be working on the segment between Hoover Avenue and Interstate 39 completing concrete repairs in the driving lanes as well as replacing the westbound shoulder which is located on the north side of CTH B.

The shoulder work will affect access to the businesses on the north side of CTH B at Village Park Drive and Menards Drive. The north side of the Village Park Drive and CTH B intersection is anticipated to be closed from June 13 through June 20 with access provided at the next intersection to the west, Menards Drive/Artist & Fare Plaza Entrance. Once the concrete is cured and Village Park Drive intersection is reopened to traffic, the north side of Menards Drive will be closed for approximately five days.

Additional concrete repairs will be completed between Wisconsin Avenue and Hoover Avenue during this timeframe as well. Short-term closures at the intersections may be required as part of the work. CTH B will remain open to east and westbound traffic with one lane in each direction while the work is being completed.

All work is scheduled to be completed by June 25.
