Kaylin Yenter-Pacelli
A Swiss army knife for her team, Kaylin Yenter stuffs the stat sheet for a Pacelli team that was the Central Wisconsin-South champions a season ago. Kaylin was an All-Conference Honorable Mention in her junior season. Kaylin is looking to build on those team and individual accolades in her senior campaign, as she currently averages 9.6 points, 6.9 rebounds, two assists and leads her team with 1.5 blocks per game.
Kaylin, a standout on the hardwood and also on the diamond in softball, started playing sports at the age of four with the encouragement of her parents. Although a proven player in basketball, she has been a key piece to the Pacelli softball team that won back-to-back state championships.
Her athleticism has been able to translate in both sports, and Kaylin attributes playing with her teammates as the reason she has been able to stick to basketball and softball for so long.
Looking back at her high school career, Kaylin can sense her own personal growth, “I matured throughout my career not only in my play but my mindset and my confidence.”
Kaylin will continue her athletic career in softball as she plans to attend the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
