SPASH loses at home against D.C. Everest

SPASH baseball fell to a visiting D.C. Everest on May 27 as they lost their final home game.

Ty Rohde gave D.C. Everest an early advantage in the top of the third inning with an RBI single to go up 1-0.

Zach Biechler tied the game for SPASH at 1-1 with a standing RBI double to bring in Owen Mansavage.

Koy Karaliunas gave SPASH the 2-1 lead with a sacrifice fly that brought in a run.

D.C. Everest took a 3-2 lead after an RBI by Brennan Hochberger.

Rohde gave D.C. Everest insurance runs with a two-run double. The final run for D.C. Everest came off an RBI double by Logan George, making the score 6-2 in the seventh inning.

SPASH scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh but could not overcome the deficit as they lost 6-4.
