• April 21 – A female reported she was planning to meet with a male at her property on Second Street; however, the male reportedly arrived early and began taking items from her residence.
• April 21 – A female reportedly made threats to beat a male up at Cozy Kitchen. Officers could find no proof of threats made.
• April 21 – An individual reported ongoing issues with PJ Jacobs Junior High School and a police officer.
• April 21 – An officer was dispatched to Michigan Avenue for reports of an ex-boyfriend purposely revving his engine outside his ex-girlfriend’s residence.
• April 21 – An employee and manager of The Store requested a male be trespassed. The employee and manager told officers that the male shows up at The Store when his child’s mother is working and causes issues. The male was trespassed.
• April 21 – Officers responded to an apartment on Lindbergh Avenue for a female yelling outside the building. Contact had been previously made; the female was then arrested and transported to Portage County Jail.
• April 21 – A truck was reported to be performing donuts behind Hobby Lobby on Highway 10.
• April 22 – A woman reported that she was being threatened and extorted over the phone.
• April 22 – A woman said she was cleaning her underwear in a public bathroom due to a blood stain. She was told she could not clean them inside the office building and she left without incident.
• April 22 – A Plover woman wanted to show an officer threatening text messages she received. The officer advised the woman she would have to report them to the Plover Police Department. The woman said she had reported them to Plover Police but said they did not do anything. The woman became upset and drove away.
• April 22 – A male on Stanley Street reported a stolen U-Haul trailer. After looking further into U-Haul records, the male discovered that the trailer was not stolen but returned to a different lot.
• April 22 – A woman forgot to pay for her gas from BP on Main Street and returned right away to complete payment.
• April 22 – An officer was dispatched to Fleet Farm for retail theft. Two individuals were detained prior to the officer’s arrival.
• April 22 – A caller reported a smashed vehicle window on Clark Street.
• April 22 – Officers responded to the Stevens Point Public Library for a warrant service. One individual was taken into custody.
• April 22 - Officers responded to Maple Street for ongoing neighbor issues. One woman said her neighbor has people talk to her outside of her house and through the walls. The woman believes her neighbor is attempting to get her to move and have someone “beat her up.” The woman admitted to also making comments in the past to her neighbor.
• April 22 – A female reported a disturbance with her live-in boyfriend on Johns Drive. The boyfriend was located leaving the scene. He was arrested for Domestic-Disorderly Conduct, Strangulation and Suffocation, and Mistreating Animals.
• April 23 – A woman who is an online performer specializing in hypnosis kinks reported that she has had several odd incidents in the past years in which she feels random individuals are stalking her.
• April 23 – A man on Yvonne Drive showed an officer CCTV footage of him locking a sliding glass patio door in the evening at 10:30. The man found the door unlocked and ajar the next morning at 5:30. There was no footage showing the door being unlocked despite the camera being pointed at the door. There were no visible pry marks or evidence to indicate a break in.
• April 23 – An officer was dispatched to Fleet Farm for retail theft. The suspect was kept inside an office at Fleet Farm and was cooperative.
• April 23 – Contact was made with a male in the Shopko parking lot who was slumped over in the driver’s seat of a vehicle with the door open. The male stated he was fine and did not need law enforcement assistance.
• April 24 – A caller reported a possible hit and run in the Metro Market parking lot on Pinecrest Avenue.
• April 25 – Officers responded to a hit and run that occurred at Belt’s Soft Serve.
• April 25 – A caller told officers that another woman she lives with was upset about money issues. The caller made a comment to the woman and the woman began screaming and referred to the caller with an obscenity used for antagonistic females. The caller stated she no longer wants to live with the woman.
• April 25 – A man reported ongoing neighbor issues. The man claims his neighbor verbally abuses him and his wife, enters their property uninvited, and dumps yard waste onto his property. The man said their landlord is aware of the issues and has begun an eviction process.
• April 25 – A caller wished to report phone calls from his estranged wife threatening to have him killed.
• April 25 – A caller reported his vehicle had been keyed after visiting Aldi on and Kwik Trip on Highway 10. He was unsure exactly when and where the damage occurred.
• April 25 – An argument in the Festival Foods parking lot about a parking job escalated to an argument about politics between two parties who were later told to separate.
• April 26 – Officers responded to Second Street for a welfare check on a 10 year old male who was carrying a knife.
• April 26 – Officers responded to Clark Street for a welfare check of a male who was marching around a parking lot barefoot in what appeared to be a manic episode. Officers noted his behavior was indicative of stimulant usage.
• April 26 – Officers responded to Clark Street for a welfare check of a male. The male was under the influence of methamphetamine and arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation.
• April 26 – Officers responded to the scene of reports of two juveniles walking around the area of Minnesota Avenue and Bush Street with a pistol.
• April 26 – Stevens Point police assisted Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department with the arrest of a male at the Salvation Army. The male was arrested for a TRO violation and misdemeanor bail jumping.
• April 28 – An employee from a Main Street business advised officers that she was being harassed by a co-worker which included threats of getting her fired.
• April 28 – A male was arrested during a traffic stop for criminal operating after revocation due to an OWI, a probation hold and felony bail jumping.
