May 16 – Officers responded to complaints of an erratic driver on Illinois Avenue. The driver was arrested for her third OWI.

May 16 – A woman saw a green bag in a van that she thought belonged to her; she stated she was nervous the van may have belonged to her ex.

May 16 – Two juvenile males were involved in a physical fight at Emerson Park. Both males were transported to receive medical care but sustained no injuries.

May 16 – Officers talked to man who stated he had parked his vehicle in the lot east of McDonald’s on Division Street. The man stated that Kent’s Towing had towed his vehicle and he claimed upon receiving his car back there was damage to the vehicle.

May 16 – An officer asked individuals who were swearing in Mead Park to watch their language due to a children’s baseball game going on in the park.

May 16 – An officer was dispatched to Kash Park due to a report of a male in his 60’s that was allegedly trying to play tag with children.

May 16 – A male was intoxicated at Congress Club and the bartender advised he wasn’t welcome. The male was transported to University Inn and Suites where he told officers he would go to bed.

May 16 – An officer observed a male downtown bring aggressive and attempting to start fights with people. He was later arrested for disorderly conduct.

May 17 – A man and woman were verbally arguing after both had been drinking. Neither party was able to separate or go to a hotel for the evening. Officers advised that if there was another disturbance, one individual would be arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.

May 17 – A woman was observed peeing in bushes near the Stevens Point Public Library. She was cited for urinating in public.

May 17 – Officers were dispatched to Fleet Farm for retail theft. A 16 year old male was issued a citation for retail theft over $50.

May 17 – Metro Market on Pinecrest Avenue wished to have a male trespassed who attempted to leave the store with unpaid alcohol.

May 17 – An alderperson called to report alleged child abuse on Soo Marie Avenue.

May 17 – A two vehicle crash on Clark Street led to a 47 year old male who was arrested for OWI causing injury, first offense. Two people were transported to the hospital to receive medical care.

May 17 – A heated football game at Goerke Park led to trash talking between teams. Coaches requested officers to be in the parking lots as one individual was lingering by the bathrooms and stating that he was going to try to fight a coach.

May 18 – Officers were dispatched to a physical disturbance on Second Street. Officers made contact with a male who stated he had been struck by another male but did not know the suspect.

May 18 – A residence on Strongs Avenue was found with multiple small dogs inside barking. Officers did not see a car and were not able to make contact with anyone inside the residence. Mail was found inside the mailbox. Contact was not able to be made with the homeowner. Dispatch was advised to tell any further callers to contact the humane society.

May 18 – Officers were dispatched to Kwik Trip on Church Street for a theft complaint. The reporting party stated that a male took a slice of pizza and energy drink and said he was not going to pay for it.

May 18 – Officers responded to a driving complaint on Michigan Avenue. A 44 year old man was cited for operating without proof of insurance and possession of marijuana less than 25 grams.

May 18 – A male was reportedly on a bike attempting to entice children on Fourth Avenue. Officers were not able to locate the male.

May 18 – Two female suspects were issued citations for retail theft at Fleet Farm.

May 18 – A caller reported that her son’s vehicle was found with images and words drawn on the hood. The vehicle is kept in a garage, leading the caller to believe someone was in her garage.

May 18 – A caller reported that her daughter, who had been reported missing, came home briefly before taking off again.

May 19 – A woman was throwing up in a bathroom at the Stevens Point Public Library due to issues she did not want to discuss. She did want an ambulance or to go to the hospital.

May 19 – A caller was concerned for their neighbor after seeing a large branch in their yard had broken.

May 20 – When conducting an investigation into a vehicle crash at Clark Street, an officer was approached by a female who stated that her upstairs neighbor started her house on fire.

May 20 – Retail theft was reported at Kwik Trip in Maria Drive and Church Street.

May 20 – A table saw was stolen from Second Street.

May 20 – Prescriptions were reportedly stolen from a residence on Green Avenue.

May 20 – An Erberts and Gerberts employee reported seeing two bottle rockets going by the window.

May 20 – A caller called 911 after hearing a knock on her door, but it ended up being her child playing a prank on her.

May 21 – A woman wanted to report that a man approached another male in a vehicle on Maria Drive and told the driver “you are next.”

May 21 – A business owner on Patch Street was worried about two younger males “casing” their business.

May 21 – Officers responded to Clark Street for alleged threats being made against a child.

May 22 – A caller reported individuals driving by her residence on John’s Drive shouting threats that included profanity, which the caller claimed her children heard.

May 22 – A male told another man that he wanted to punch the man in the face, which led to a physical altercation in which the male flipped the man’s drink.

May 22 – An officer responded to Kwik Trip on Church Street for male who was present in the store despite being trespassed from the property.
