AMHERST-The first four innings were the determining factor in the outcome for Amherst as they scored all seven runs. Amherst outhit the Thunderbirds 8-5 throughout the game.

NEENAH-The opening four innings turned into a high-scoring stalemate as the Thunderbirds scored their first three runs in the first inning, and St Mary Catholic responded to tie up the game in the fourth. The Thunderbirds distanced themselves with four runs in the fifth inning and added two more in the seventh inning.
Maya Munoz had three hits, including a two-run double, and finished with three RBIs.
Sophia Munoz hit a two-run home run over the left-centerfield fence.
