Warhawks Jaydon LeNoble looks for a return to state

Posted

A number one ranking in Division 3 for the Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks has their sights set on a return trip to the WIAA state team wrestling tournament after an appearance in the semifinals last season. One of the reasons for this is sophomore Jaydon LeNoble, who participated in the individual tournament in 2024 in the 106-pound weight class as a freshman.
As a sophomore, Jaydon has gone up to the 113-pound weight class and is top three in Division 3 going into the postseason.

Jaydon became invested in wrestling at 10 years old, as his fifth-grade teacher Trevor Potratz, along with his parents, Jesse and Sandy, encouraged him to try the sport.

His teammates have been positive for Jaydon’s growth in wrestling,” Having my teammates/best friends with me, striving for the same goals and working hard to get better.”

Jaydon’s passion for the sport is one of his biggest strengths on the mat, “my speed and love of the sport are biggest assets.”

LeNobles most memorable experiences in wrestling. ”Team camp in the Dells, our trip to Florida last year, summers at the factory.”

“My Weyauwega-Fremont and coaching staff, as well as my club training partners and coaches,” are some of the people who have been able to help Jaydon’s development.
