Two separate felony cases involving children have been filed against Andrew J. Porrey, 29, Waupaca.
He is charged with three counts of felony physical abuse of a child and one count of repeated sexual assault of a child.
On Oct. 17, a protective services investigator with the Waupaca County Department of Health and Human Services and Waupaca Police Officer Diana Flatoff met with a 7-year-old boy who reported that Porrey had been frequently spanking three children, ages 3 to 7.
The child also said Porrey would take one of the girls into a bedroom and close the door, He would then hear the girl screaming and crying.
The case was opened after the children’s grandmother reported that one of the girls had drawn a picture of herself dead and said that her mother had threatened to kill her.
In November, Waupaca Police Officer Lisa Benitez spoke with an 8-year-old girl who said Porrey had touched her inappropriately several times between December 2008 and December 2011.
If convicted of repeated sexual assault of a child, Porrey could serve up to 40 years in prison.
