Manawa students Austin Wagner, Alexander Kowaleski and Camden Moser won fourth in Management Decision Making at the state level.

Students who place in the top three of their event earn the right to compete at National Leadership Conference.

Adam Michalowski and Robert Kowalaczyk took first place in Public Service Announcement. They will be competing at this year’s National Leadership Conference on June 29 through July 2 in Chicago, Illinois.

The two-day conference had workshops and tours for members to attend to increase their business knowledge as well as compete in business events.

Also at the conference, students were able to raise money for the March of Dimes through a Miracle Minute.

New this year was a scavenger hunt using an app called Goose Chase where students could see their ranking with all participants at the conference. The LWHS students placed seventh.

State participants from LWHS were Ethan Michalowski, Adam Michalowski, Robert Kowalczyk, Johanna Wentworth, Camden Moser, Alexander Kowaleski, Austin Wagner, Todd Olsen and Luke Wilz.
