Ryelee J. Manente-Powell, 18, Waupaca, is charged with felony strangulation, misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct as acts of domestic abuse.
On Tuesday, Feb. 4, three police officers responded to a report of domestic abuse on the 100 block of Granite Street in Waupaca.
They met with a 19-year-old woman who said Manente-Powell punched holes in the wall, punched her, then began choking her until she started to black out.
The officers took Manente-Powell into custody, where he remains on a $1,500 cash bond.
Manente-Powell was also cited for underage drinking.
