Community Trick-or-Treat Guide

Waupaca County

New London: Saturday, Oct. 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In addition to traditional neighborhood trick-or-treating, local organizations and businesses have scheduled community events:

Emanuel Lutheran Church Trunk-or-Treat will be at 200 E. Quincy St. in the east parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., featuring free hot dogs, games, and candy distribution. Familiar Grounds will host a morning Halloween event on Saturday, Oct. 24, starting at 11:30 a.m. Spooks on Spurr: Live music and entertainment will take place the evening of Friday, Oct. 30, leading into Halloween day.

Town of Mukwa: Saturday, Oct. 31, anchored by the town’s second annual community event.

The Mukwa Town Hall, located at E8514 Weyauwega Rd., will host a Trunk-or-Treat starting at 3 p.m. The event features decorated vehicle trunks, games, food, Halloween music, and candy distribution for area youth. Neighborhood trick-or-treating across the town will align with the afternoon festivities.

Waupaca: Youth can double dip this year. Trick-or-treating is scheduled for Saturday, October 31, from 5 to 7 p.m.  Additionally, the downtown area will host “Halloween on Main Street” (featuring trick-or-treating at local businesses) on Friday, October 30, from 4 to 6 p.m.

Weyauwega: Sunday, October 25, from 3 to 6 p.m.   Additionally, “Boo Fest” will be held on the 100 block of East Main Street during that same afternoon from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Hortonville: Saturday, Oct. 31.

Activities begin with the annual costume parade, running from 2:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Costumed families and children will gather downtown before village-wide door-to-door trick-or-treating begins.

Residential trick-or-treating will take place immediately following the parade, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Local business owners in downtown Hortonville will also host the “Halloween on Main” event on Friday, Oct. 30, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Fremont: Sunday, October 25, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Clintonville: Saturday, Oct. 31 from 4-7 p.m.

Iola: Sunday, Oct. 25 from 2-4 p.m.

Manawa: Saturday, Oct. 31 from 5-7 p.m.

Scandinavia: Sunday, Oct. 25 from 2-4 p.m.

Junction City: Oct. 25 from 4-7 p.m.

Almond: Oct. 30 from 5-7 p.m.
