CLINTONVILLE – The Clintonville School District recently was awarded two awards pertaining to the communication it provided regarding an operational referendum that was eventually approved by district residents in the April general election.
Clintonville Superintendent Troy Kuhn informed the Clintonville School Board about the awards at the board’s Sept. 14 meeting. Kuhn reminded the board that it had approved communications regarding the referendum and hired someone to put communication commercials together to inform the public.
The first award was presented to Kuhn and Dean Leisgang, of CESA, from the National School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) in the creation of the Everyone, Every Day: Welcome to the Clintonville Public School District informational video. This video included district staff and students.
The district also won the Amplify award from WSPRA. Kuhn received the award for supporting the efforts of school public relations and communications.
“Thank you for allowing me that leadership and I want to thank everybody who was involved in those because it wouldn’t have been done without them, it’s that simple,” Kuhn said.
