WAUPACA – The City of Waupaca’s new AV Studio is now open to the public. Located within the city’s Recreation Center and the newly established Business Center, the AV Studio was made possible through the Wisconsin Department of Administration’s Flexible Facilities Program and a grant provided through Fox Valley Technical College.
The AV Studio offers a professional, creative workspace for a wide range of projects, including podcasting, virtual meetings, basic music production, voice recording, VHS and cassette tape to digital conversion, product photography using a photo lightbox, and the creation and editing of video, photo, and audio content. The space is designed to help bring ideas to life, limited only by your imagination.
Available equipment includes a Tascam Mixcast 4, remotely controlled PTZ cameras, a video switcher, large-screen television, microphones, and other production tools. The studio’s computer workstation features industry-leading software, including Adobe Photoshop Elements, Adobe Premiere Elements, Vegas Pro, Audacity, and OBS Studio, giving users access to powerful tools for a variety of creative and professional projects.
To introduce the AV Studio to the community, use of the facility will be offered free of charge for the remainder of 2026. Modest usage fees will be implemented beginning in 2027.
