• Jan. 19 – A New London woman on State Road reported her entire apartment smelled like marijuana because of her ganja-loving neighbor. She said her landlord has addressed this with the neighbor many times.
• Jan. 19 – A Waupaca woman on Amy Street reported she was scammed over the phone by someone claiming that money was taken out of her Apple Pay account. She gave out her credit card information.
• Jan. 19 – Royalton Station reported a $50 gas drive-off. The vehicle was a silver BMW.
• Jan. 20 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident got mad and poured water on another resident’s head.
• Jan. 20 – Wally World Tavern reported the theft of $900 and they had footage of the incident.
• Jan. 20 – A New London man on Ferry Street reported the death of a father.
• Jan. 20 – The Pines in Embarrass reported one of their residents ran out the front door and the staff was trying to catch him.
• Jan. 21 – A New London woman on Cut-Off Road reported she was involved in a Spectrum scam and gave the scammer her credit card information and date of birth.
• Jan. 21 – A homeless man in an Impala reported he was having mental issues and was upset. He said he had a pellet gun and a couple knives in his backpack.
• Jan. 21 – The Fremont Hotel reported the night before a man came to the bar and said he was going to hurt an employee and her children and he would be back today to “take care of them.”
• Jan. 21 – A female caller reported an intoxicated man was pushed out of a vehicle and was covered in snow.
• Jan. 21 – A Waupaca man on County Trunk QQ reported his Facebook account was hacked and left with racial comments and threats to shoot the president. He tried to shut down his FB page but was unable to do so.
• Jan. 21 – A Marion man on Riverview Drive reported a 41-year-old woman overdosed on trazodone and sleeping pills.
• Jan. 22 – A Marion man on Ramsdell Street reported a possible fraud involving money from a trust.
• Jan. 23 – New London ThedaCare requested a welfare check on a man that said he did not have a reason to live.
• Jan. 24 – A New London man on Oakwood Lane reported a man beat him up the day before and he lost consciousness. He now has bruises all over his body.
• Jan. 24 – A Manawa man on Island Road reported a suspicious vehicle was honking its horn outside of his residence. It took off and then came back.
• Jan. 25 – A 911 caller reported the death of a 68-year-old male.
• Jan. 25 –An Ogdensburg man on Waupaca Road reported he got punched in the face twice by another man the night before.
• Jan. 25 – A New London man on Sun Ray Avenue reported his duck skiff was stolen.
• Jan. 25 – A Clintonville man on Graetz Road reported the theft of four bottle of alcohol.
• Jan. 25 – A Weyauwega woman on County Trunk X reported people were at her house knocking on the door and swearing and threatening her.
• There were 12 deer-related calls during this period. One controlled burn was called in. Theda Care in New London reported a woman was bitten by her own dog. An anonymous person reported a duck was frozen onto the pavement in the middle of the road and another person, reporting it as a goose, tried to move the bird but was unable to. A 911 caller reported a dog was caught in a trap near a pond.
