• Feb. 2 – A Clintonville man on County Trunk DD received a phone call and the person said his nephew was in a Minnesota detention center and he needed $500 to put him on an ankle monitor. The man sent the money but later cancelled the transaction.
• Feb. 2 – A New London woman on Stage Road reported a domestic situation on behalf of her sister. Her nephew was “out of control.”
• Feb. 2 – A Scandinavia woman on Grove Street reported the stink of marijuana coming from an apartment.
• Feb. 2 – A Fremont woman requested a welfare check for a woman who told her that she lived in a house with no heat and her child was cold.
• Feb. 2 – JR’s Sportsman’s Bar reported a man that drives a black Toyota was throwing stuff at the building and was asked to leave.
• Feb. 3 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile tried to choke a staff member.
• Feb. 4 – A Weyauwega woman on State Highway 110 reported the death of a 61-year-old woman.
• Feb. 6 – A Waupaca man on Park Lane reported a Fed Ex package containing 7.62×51mm ammunition was stolen. The package was confirmed delivered.
• Feb. 6 – A New London woman on County Trunk B reported her neighbor removed the hose from his drainage sump pump and this caused water to cover the caller’s driveway which has now turned to ice.
• Feb. 6 – A Marion man on County Trunk S reported his father’s trailer was stolen and he found a person on Facebook Marketplace trying to sell it.
• Feb. 7 – A Weyauwega woman on South Street reported a man and a woman were outside screaming at each other.
• Feb. 7 –A Clintonville man on Sievers Road reported a suspicious white truck was driving around in his backyard on his septic mounds.
• Feb. 8 – A New London woman on State Highway 54 reported someone hung a llama piñata on her porch the night before.
• Feb. 8 – A New London man on Tank Road reported he believed his neighbors were shooting onto his property and he was worried about ricochet.
• Feb. 8 – A Waupaca woman on County Trunk K reported she was at the “lawn mower place” and that she was “unsure of what is going on” and it was “not making sense.”
• Feb. 8 – An Iola man on County Trunk J reported hearing suspicious gun shots: two shots at first, followed by three rapid fire shots.
• Feb. 8 – A New London man on State Highway 54 reported his neighbor was threatening to beat him with his cane.
• Feb. 8 – A Manawa woman on Grove Street reported a black truck followed her home from Weyauwega. She circled around the block and it was parked outside of her apartment complex.
• There were 13 deer-related calls during this period. Twenty-seven controlled burns were called in. A New London woman reported a pony loose in the roadway and a person was trying to catch it. An unknown caller reported finding an eagle and it was currently in his backseat. The dispatcher confirmed the Raptor Education Group would pick it up—he just needed to put it in a box. A male caller reported 15 cows were loose on State Highway 54. A New London man was bitten by a Great Dane.
