• June 12 –A caller reported a Fed Ex driver smashed into their basketball hoop.
• June 12 – Angler’s Bar in Fremont reported a man was beating a dog and removed a gun from a vehicle.
• June 12 – Canadian National Railroad reported a female was on the railroad tracks.
• June 12 – A woman reported a man that was drinking was not letting her leave.
• June 12 – A caller reported two suspicious gunshots.
• June 12 – A cell phone caller called 911 and whispered, “Hello.” The dispatcher asked if there was an emergency. The caller whispered, “Yes,” and hanged up. The dispatcher was not able to call back or get a GPS location.
• June 13 – A man reported his neighbor tried to hit him with his pickup truck while he was mowing his grass. There were tire tracks on the lawn.
• June 13 – A woman reported another woman just swallowed a “bunch of pills again.”
• June 13 – A caller reported a man at a kayak launch was under the influence of something. He climbed on top of a picnic table and later passed out.
• June 13 – A man reported his aunt is a “lunatic” and was on his property. The dispatcher noted the caller sounded intoxicated.
• June 13 – A caller reported an intoxicated man wearing a cowboy hat left a Fremont bar and was driving downstream on the Wolf River in a black pontoon boat.
• June 13 – A woman reported two boats collided and wanted to meet a deputy at a boat launch.
• June 13 – A man reported people in a small white car were driving by his house and throwing out fireworks. One landed near his house and started a small fire.
• June 14 – A woman reported someone was shining a light on her property and shooting. It happened the night before.
• June 14 – A man reported a vehicle was parked in the middle of the road and the male driver was asleep.
• June 14 – ThedaCare Waupaca requested a welfare check on a pregnant woman knwn to be using methamphetamine.
• June 15 – A woman reported she was missing a large sum of money, her debit card and a firearm.
• June 15 – A woman reported an intoxicated woman was arguing with a coach at a baseball field.
• June 15 – A woman reported there was a person living out of a van on a property with no running water or bathroom. She requested a welfare check on the children living there.
• June 16 – The Dept. of Health and Human Services reported a case of food-share fraud.
• June 16 –A caller reported a group of youth on bikes were going from house to house and peering into windows.
• June 16 – Royalton Station reported a vehicle drove off without paying for $231 of diesel.
• June 16 – A man reported a woman was having suicidal thoughts and sent him a text message about struggling to “not down all her pills.”
• June 16 – A woman moving into a new home learned the previous owners were drug users. She reported finding a powdered white substance.
• June 16 – A caller reported the strong smell of decay in the area with no explanation. A woman recently moved into a nearby address and had not been seen for a while.
• June 16 – A man reported the possible theft of a missing Savage .243 rifle.
• June 16 – Camp Young Judea reported a group of youth on paddleboards and canoes yelled profanities and anti-Semitic things to the campers.
• June 16 – A caller reported the illegal dumping of car tires in a ditch.
• June 16 – A man reported when he got home the door was unlocked and there was dirt in the house.
• June 17 – A Flock camera was reported damaged. It was still attached to its post.
• June 17 – A woman reported her son called her and her soon-to-be- ex-husband was at the house and he was crying and there was a gun on the couch.
• June 18 – An anonymous caller reported a woman on probation was in contact with known dug dealers and users.
• June 18 – A man reported his wife and two children and their dog were attacked by a dog from a residence on Cobbtown Road.
• June 18 – A woman reported a man was leaving love letters addressed to some other woman. She advised him he has the wrong address.
• June 19 – A man reported his soon-to-be ex-wife took out a $4,000 loan with his Social Security number in defiance of a court order.
• June 19 – A caller reported a woman that was hoarding “at least 35 cats” and none of them were fixed. She provided the woman’s address.
• June 19 –A caller reported a propane tank was opened and the house was evacuated. The gas smell could be detected a mile away.
• June 19 –A man reported when his Illinois neighbor visits his Waupaca County residence, he mows his lawn and shoots the grass clippings into the caller’s driveway.
• June 19 – A woman reported getting threatening messages from her mother who was recently released from a mental institution.
• June 19 – A woman reported a power line on the road. There was a burning smell but no sparks.
• June 20 – A caller requested a welfare check on a family where the children wander around unsupervised. One child was spotted on the roof of the house.
• June 20 – A woman reported a dog was locked in a shed for four days and howling. There were things propped against the door.
• June 20 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile runaway.
• June 20 – A man reported his neighbors were shooting guns and it appeared they were shooting across State Highway 22.
• June 21 – A caller reported a suspicious man wearing a long dress shirt came up to the house and rang the doorbell.
• June 21 – The Red Mill Gift Shop reported a camper missing a wheel was left in the parking lot.
• June 21 – A man reported a man carrying two bottles attempted to enter his girlfriend’s car without permission. He asked for a ride to a bar.
• June 21 – A woman reported her schizophrenic daughter was off her medication and was talking to herself.
• There were 20 deer-related calls during this period, including two motorcycles vs. deer crashes where the riders needed medical help. Twenty-six controlled burns were called in. The water patrol stopped 46 boats. There were a handful of fireworks complaints. A caller reported a woman was bitten by her own cat. An Amazon driver reported getting bit by a dog. Two bicyclists reported getting bit by dogs. A woman reported an owl was in the roadway, apparently run over and then “the owl got up and flew away.” A caller reported a loose brown cow in a ditch, the third time it escaped in a week. A driver reported hitting a wild turkey, it smashed the windshield and glass hit the driver’s face. He declined medical help. A caller reported a dog was running loose in traffic on U.S. Highway 10. A man reported a loose cow on Aanstad Road. A deputy helped a family of geese safely cross the road.
