• June 22 – A caller at a railroad crossing reported the stop arms were down and the warning lights were flashing but no train was coming.
• June 22 – A woman reported her son was yelling at her and he threw a blanket at her.
• June 22 – A woman requested a welfare check on her daughter, UW-Oshkosh student, who she had not had contact with in a month.
• June 22 – A caller reported a lost kayak that flew out the back of a trailer.
• June 22 – A man reported he has had issue with his neighbor years and now he suspected him of putting algae in his swimming pool.
• June 22 – A caller reported a grassfire started by a campfire near Knutson Lake.
• June 22 – A caller reported a man claimed to be a fishing guide, took his angling gear and did not return it.
• June 22 – A caller reported what appeared to be a 10-year-old boy driving a Ford Taurus. The driving was erratic and the vehicle turned left on County Trunk K.
• June 22 – A man reported he was threatened via a messaging app by another man who said he should “watch his back.”
• June 22 – A caller reported he or she was looking for a black four-door car, possibly a Ford Taurus. A young boy came up to a person saying, “Help me.” There was a male in the vehicle wearing a blue t-shirt and shorts.
• June 22 – A man reported hearing some digging at the end of his property and did not think anything of it. His neighbor notified him of some damage to his land.
• June 22 – A man reported $70 of election signs were stolen.
• June 22 – A man reported her boyfriend dragged her by her neck and was “getting up in her face.” She tried to leave but has a breathalyzer in her vehicle and she had been drinking.
• June 23 – The BP gas station in Embarrass reported a gas drive-off where the customer had two transactions but only paid for one.
• June 23 – An anonymous caller reported that people were putting their garbage in other peoples’ garbage cans late at night on Bean City Road. It had been happening for a couple weeks. The caller did not know what they were throwing away but it seemed “fishy.”
• June 23 – Anglers Bar in Fremont reported a woman has ordered food on several occasion and never comes to pick it up.
• June 23 – A caller reported that the night before someone started a fire at the end of his driveway. Bushes were burned in that area and also paint was all over.
• June 23 – A caller reported a suspicious man at a playground that seemed to be “following children around at the park.”
• June 24 – A caller reported a woman felt threatened and worried that political activists will visit her property and vandalize it because of Facebook threats and comments.
• June 24 – Sleepy Creek Pet Lodge in New London reported there was a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and shorts. He was sitting by the fence, drinking and refusing to leave.
• June 25 –A county highway crew reported someone stole rumble strips off the road the night before.
• June 25 – A caller reported fraudulent checks were written on a business account for over $100,000.
• June 25 – A caller reported getting a letter from the IRS stating her identity was stolen based on two transactions in 2023.
• June 25 – A caller reported two fraudulent checks totaling $190 were discovered by his bank.
• June 25 – A woman reported the death of an 81-year-old woman.
• June 25 – A caller reported his or her windshield was shattered by a golf ball.
• June 25 – A woman reported her daughter was sent money online in exchange for pictures. They sent her a photo of a fraudulent check. They threatened her, saying they know where she lives and they will kill her family.
• June 26 – A caller reported a stop sign was pulled out of the ground and someone wrote profanities on it.
• June 26 – Shawano County Sheriff’s Office requested an ambulance for a bleeding woman struck by shrapnel from fireworks.
• June 26 – A woman reported a suspicious man was following children.
• June 27 – A caller reported there was a boat with four people that were waterskiing outside of the designated hours on Rainbow Lake. Later in the day, there was another call about people waterskiing after the designated hours.
• June 27 – A woman reported hearing outside a “woman screaming at the top of her lungs.” Some people pulled her into a blue sedan, went into a driveway and took her inside of a house.
• June 27 –A woman reported her father-in-law had been drinking and he walked off into a swamp.
• June 27 –A woman reported a man broke into her garage and stole a .40 caliber handgun and one or two loaded magazines.
• June 28 – Iola Pines Campground reported an intoxicated man without pants was refusing to leave.
• June 28 – A caller reported a red Checkmate boat was ignoring the slow, no wake rules on the Wolf River and was last seen heading towards Fremont.
• There were 11 deer-related calls during this period. Fourteen controlled burns were called in. The water patrol stopped 17 boats. Four cows were reported in the road by State Highway 22 and County Trunk T. ThedaCare reported a dog bite.
