Community members come together to support Mark Bielmeier

Posted

Community members came together to support Mark Bielmeier, as he is currently unable to work while recovering from a stroke. The benefit spoke volumes to the person Mark is, with everyone sharing how he was always willing to lend a helping hand.
Mark worked in construction for over 40 years and was the go-to person to call. No matter what time of day, Mark was there to help. Many community members shared his generosity, with his services sometimes being provided at no charge.
A personal story shared by one of the attendees recalled how Mark would always come to help with her elderly mother’s problems. He would work seven days a week, even on holidays, just to serve his community.
Jeff Rosin and Corey Bielmeier organized the benefit, which was held at the WWII Memorial Building on April 11. Attendees enjoyed lunch catered by Moose Inn and had the chance to win several raffle items. All funds raised from this event will help with expenses while Mark is recovering from the stroke.
