Hortonville baseball remains undefeated

The Polar Bears continued their winning ways as they hosted Fond du Lac on April 16 at Commercial Club Park.

Gary Wuest drove in a run on a single on a ground ball to bring in Isaac Behnke for a run and make the score 1-0 in the first inning.

Xavier Enriquez made the score 2-0 with an RBI double on a line drive to left field in the second inning, Enriquez would score on an error later in the inning to extend the Hortonville lead to 3-0.

Tristan Berrens drove in the third run of the second inning with a hard ground ball to left field to make the score 4-0.

Fond du Lac cut into the Hortonville lead with two runs in the second inning to make the deficit 4-2.

Enriquez drove in another run with a single to make the final score 5-2 and extend the Polar Bears undefeated streak to 8-0.

Enriquez was three-for-four at the plate and with two RBI and a run, while Elijah Yeager got the win on the mound.
