Stevens Point Sixers compete in legion play

The Stevens Point Sixers hosted Beaver Dam in American Legion play on July 4.
Beaver Dam struck in the top of the first inning, as a double to right field on a pop fly brought in a run to make the score 1-0.

In the third inning, a triple gave Beaver Dam a 2-0 lead as Brady Caine drove in a courtesy runner.

Stevens Point got on the board in the bottom of the third inning as Matthew Ostroski drove in a run.

Beaver Dam reestablished their two-run lead as a sacrifice fly gave them a 3-1 lead.

In the sixth inning, Stevens Point evened up the score with a ground out and a sacrifice fly for an RBI to make it a 3-3 game.

Beaver Dam drove in the deciding run in the sixth inning with a RBI sacrifice fly to make the final score 4-3.
