STEVENS POINT — Chelsie Lehmann, 32, entered a plea of no contest to one count of neglecting a child and was found guilty. Lehmann is currently being held in connection to the Amber Alert that occurred on Sept. 11 when her six-year-old daughter was reported missing. The child was ultimately found safe with Jordan Coyle. Coyle is also in custody in connection to the Amber Alert and is facing charges of 1st Degree Child Sexual Assault (with a modifier of Persistent Repeater) and Interference with Child Custody.
Lehmann faced charges of Harboring a Felon, Encouraging a Parole Violation, and Neglecting a Child. In a plea hearing on Feb. 19, Lehmann accepted a plea deal and plead no contest to the charge of neglecting a child, to which she was found guilty. The other two charges were dismissed.
