Sept. 10 – Officers responded to Willow Brooke Senior Living for an unexpected death. 

Sept. 10 – A complainant reported a woman was smoking marijuana in a vehicle on Fourth Avenue. Upon arrival to the scene, officers discovered the woman was smoking hemp which was legal to possess. 

 Sept. 10 – A woman reported a man added her on Snapchat in May, 2026 and had sent inappropriate messages. The woman stated she felt that she was being watched and wanted the police to have documentation in case something further occurs.

Sept. 10 – Kwik Trip on Stanley Street reported a retail theft of two packs of gum.

Sept. 10 – A 74-year-old woman reported her 18-year-old grandson was being rude and violent. The grandson had been arrested previously for violent tendencies. The woman wanted him out of her residence, but she was provided with information on how to remove him given that the grandson had already claimed residency at her home. 

Sept. 10 – While at the hospital, a 29-year-old woman threatened to stab a police officer “in the guts.” She was ultimately taken to jail for threats to law enforcement, disorderly conduct, and two counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. 

Sept. 11 – A 35-year-old man was taken to the hospital by ambulance the night prior, but when he was discharged in the morning he was found sleeping in the back of the hospital. He then sat in the hospital’s lobby after being asked to leave. He got onto a bus with the hospital’s blanket after cursing out hospital staff.

Sept. 11 – A 19-year-old UWSP student stole $1,250 from the cash register of Top Hat Bar. The student was caught by a citizen and the money was returned. 

Sept. 11 – A 60-year-old woman was sleeping in the bus stop on Main Street and Strongs Avenue. She was intoxicated and had defecated herself. She was not waiting for a bus and was issued a citation for loitering. 

Sept. 11 – A group of teenagers on were riding e-bikes on Centerpoint Drive when they began yelling at a woman and threatened to hurt her dog. The same teens were then later seen near Prentice Street and Fourth Avenue. One of the teens was hit by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stated the teen did not appear to be hurt but asked the group to stay at the scene while they called the police. While the driver was calling in the accident, the teens then took off.

Sept. 12 – An officer cleaned up a large amount of beer cans, opened cans of dog food, and clothes littered around the bus stop on Main Street and Strongs Avenue. 

Sept. 12 – Officers were called to Pacelli High School for a theft complaint. 

Sept. 13 – A 25-year-old man was arrested on West Clark Street for OWI first offense. 

Sept. 13 – A 48-year-old man was highly intoxicated and sleeping in someone’s front yard on Second Street. 

Sept. 13 – A student at Pacelli High School had a cut on his head that required stitches. He refused an ambulance and was transported to the hospital by police. 

Sept. 14 – A 41-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he yelled and flipped a person off a picnic table at Mead Park. The man resisted arrested, which resulted in an additional charge of resisting/obstruction.

Sept. 15 – A 65-year-old man reported being out approximately $9,000 in gift cards he sent to a woman he met online. 

Sept. 15 – A caller reported seeing a man carrying a young female in a dress. She was reportedly crying and the pair looked lost. Officers were unable to locate them.

Sept. 15 – A caller heard a fire alarm going off in a communal basement. He located a washing machine that was smoking while running. He unplugged the machine. 

Sept. 15 – Officers responded to Prentice Street for a death investigation. 

Sept. 16 – Kwik Trip on Maria Drive reported a retail theft. 

Sept. 16 – A student at Ben Franklin Junior High School decided to walk away from school. She was upset about her laptop being closed and being unable to see her friends between classes. The student eventually agreed to return to school.

Sept. 16 – A speaker was stolen from an unlocked car on Minnesota Avenue. 

Sept. 16 – Kwik Trip on Church Street reported a retail theft.
