Waupaca County Sheriff’s report Oct. 26

• Oct. 20 – A man stopped in the sheriff’s office to report suspicious activity on his property. There were two people peeking into his buildings and he had a photo of their vehicle.
• Oct. 20 – Midway Storage reported they took a possession of a boat and moped for non-payment of rent and they wanted to check to make sure the items were not stolen.
• Oct. 20 – A Bear Creek woman on Silver Creek Road reported some of her money was missing but she did not want to report a theft. The person she thought who stole the money was there and she requested an officer to come over and “watch what he is doing.”
• Oct. 20 – A Clintonville woman on Knaack Road reported she wanted to turn herself in. However, the paperwork for the warrant was not finished. She said she would be home all day.
• Oct. 20 – A Clintonville woman on Madison Road reported she was hearing voices again. Some were telling her to harm herself. She is schizophrenic and her medication was recently changed.
• Oct. 20 – A New London man reported suspicious activity at a house owned by a woman in a nursing home.
• Oct. 20 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk U reported a missing person in the woods by the river.
• Oct. 20 – A Waupaca man on Apple Tree Lane reported he was being harassed by a woman and now she was parked in his driveway.
• Oct. 20 – A Waupaca man on Lamplighter Lane reported he was jumped by two males. He got a bloody nose and felt dizzy.
• Oct. 20 –A Waupaca man on Elm Street reported a gas leak. The smell of propane was coming from an unknown area.
• Oct. 21 – Badgerland Restoration in Weyauwega reported a truck driver turned around in their parking lot and did some damage. As they were discussing this, the semi driver took off eastbound on U.S. Highway 10.
• Oct. 21 – A deputy received an email from a Waupaca High School teacher that noticed the smell of marijuana in the classroom and provided the name of the suspected student.
• Oct. 21 – An unknown caller requested a welfare check for a suicidal man in a red Ford F150 that was on Fulton Street.
• Oct. 21 – An Iola woman on Division Street reported her brother attacked her at a birthday party that was held over the weekend.
• Oct. 21 – A man reported he was staying at an Airbnb and for the last five minutes a woman was screaming on the other side of the wall.
• Oct. 21 – Anonymous caller reported a freshman was selling drugs out of his locker. He took the packaged drugs from his father and said they came from Michigan.
• Oct. 21 – A Manawa man on Union Street reported a juvenile runaway.
• Oct. 21 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk U reported the theft of $27,000. He believed his wife’s caregivers took the money.
• Oct. 21 – A Waupaca woman on Fulton Street reported the death of a 28-year-old man.
• Oct. 22 – A man approached a deputy acting strange and saying he needed an officer. “I’m on your side but things are going down!” he said.
• Oct. 22 – Wisconsin Lifeline reported a juvenile called them and said that he/she wants to end his/her life because of being bullied at school. The juvenile admitted to taking some pills.
• Oct. 23 – A man slammed a door and the fall-detection feature on his Apple watch called 911. He confirmed he did not fall.
• Oct. 23 – A Waupaca man on Mynard Road reported he advanced a contractor $50,000 and has not heard or seen the contractor and will not answer his calls. He estimates there is $22,000 left of work to finish.
• Oct. 23 – Kwik Trip on Fulton Street reported a man was unsteady at the gas pump and appeared intoxicated.
• Oct. 23 – A Waupaca woman on Lind Lane reported a man was harassing her and threatening to get her arrested.
• Oct. 23 – A Waupaca woman on East Road reported a suspicious woman sitting in front of her home for the past four hours.
• Oct. 23 – A Waupaca man on Waupaca Street reported his ex-wife’s boyfriend told his ex-wife that he was going to kill him.
• Oct. 23 – An Ogdensburg man reported someone dumped a couch and a TV on his property.
• Oct. 23 – An unknown caller requested a welfare check on a man that made suicidal comments and said parasites were coming out of his scalp.
• Oct. 24 – A Scandinavia woman on Grove Street reported a suspected break-in as the lock was missing from her front door.
• Oct. 24 – An Ogdensburg woman on County Trunk K reported she paid $11,800 for a camper and it was to be delivered. It did not show up.
• Oct. 24 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a juvenile punch a staff member in the face and spit on the person.
• Oct. 24 – The Portage County Humane Society reported a dog groomer had a dog covered with sores and its hair was matted with feces.
• Oct. 25 – A Manawa caller on Union Street reported a juvenile runaway.
• Oct. 26 – An unknown caller reported a stepfather and mother told a woman to get out of a moving vehicle going 20 mph. The woman got out on her own and was injured.
• Oct. 26 – A New London woman on Beacon Avenue reported a juvenile runaway.
• There were 21 deer-related calls during this period. Seven controlled burns were called in. Three mailboxes were reported smashed. A New London woman on Cut Off Road reported an aggressive German shepherd was chasing cars. A Clintonville man reported a brown horse running wild near Old Highway 45.
