• Dec. 8 – A Bear Creek man reported finding a harassing message written in the salt grime on his truck.
• Dec. 8 – A Fremont woman on Fremont Street reported a check was cashed from her account for $15,000 and she had nothing to do with the transaction.
• Dec. 8 – An Iola woman on Main Street reported hearing yelling and screaming outside and a man yelled, “I’m going to pull the trigger on all of you,” and “I’m going to punch you in the face.”
• Dec. 9 – An Appleton woman reported a situation involving allegations of witchcraft.
• Dec. 9 – A Weyauwega man on County Trunk X reported a mailed check that went missing.
• Dec. 9 – A Weyauwega man on U.S. Highway 10 reported a case of elder abuse where a woman coerced an older man into giving her large amounts of money.
• Dec. 9 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported that woman with a traumatic brain injury was making allegations that she was raped the night before.
• Dec. 9 – A Manawa woman on Nuthatch Lane reported a suspicious vehicle parked at a place where the owners were gone for the week.
• Dec. 10 – A New London woman on Oakwood Pass reported a case of identity theft.
• Dec. 10 – A Missouri woman that once lived on White Lake Road earlier this year, reported learned that she was defrauded out of $243, 300 while she was living in Waupaca County.
• Dec. 10 – A New London man on County Trunk S reported the theft of carpentry and hand tools from a storage unit.
• Dec. 10 – A Weyauwega man on West Alfred Street reported a man with a no-contact order was flying a drone over his property.
• Dec. 10 – An Iola woman on Main Street reported a half-naked male was outside and screaming at himself.
• Dec. 11 – A Fremont woman on Puuri Road reported a fraud where $6,000 was taken out of her bank account.
• Dec. 11 – A New London man on Seefeld Road reported he rents a motor home from a man that lives in a trailer on the same property. The man cut the power to the motor home.
• Dec. 11 – A Waupaca man on Crystal Lake Road reported neighbors were trespassing on his property with snowmobiles.
• Dec. 11 – An Iola man on County Trunk C reported a suspicious silver Chevy truck driving slowly pasts his house repeatedly.
• Dec. 12 – A Waupaca man on Pleasant Park Lane reported a fraudulent charge in his checking account.
• Dec. 12 – Weyauwega-Fremont School District reported a light blue S-10 pickup blew past a stopped school bus with its light flashing.
• Dec. 12 – A Weyauwega woman on Sunset Court reported some hunters shot at deer after shooting hours.
• Dec. 12 – A Waupaca man on Otter Drive reported his parents were trying to take away his phone and not let him talk to his friends.
• Dec. 12 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident was missing $200.
• Dec. 12 – The Wheelhouse in Waupaca reported a snowmobile was driving the wrong way on County Trunk and sending up sparks. They did not serve the driver but he looked intoxicated.
• Dec. 12 – The Wisconsin Veterans Home reported a resident has a bruised and swollen upper lip. He stated a seven-foot man in a trench coat hit him in the face with a chain.
• Dec. 13 – A Clintonville man on Kratzke Road reported someone dumped two mattresses in the ditch.
• Dec. 13 – A Bear Creek woman on Symco Road reported she thought her Australian-English shepherd dog was stolen.
• There were 14 deer-related calls during this period. Ten controlled burns were called in. There were numerous calls about snowplow-related incidents: neighbor disputes, displaced snow in unwanted locations, bashed mailboxes, bumped posts and minor accidents. A loose cow was reported on County Trunk D. ThedaCare Waupaca reported a man was bit by a stray cat.
