March 30 – A man reported he sent a check to Discover card in February for $300. The check was returned and it was made out to another man for $1,000.
March 30 – A man reported a juvenile was intoxicated, threatening suicide and was out of control.
March 30 – All Temperature Systems, an HVAC company in Waupaca, reported finding car parts out in the yard and a bumper with a license plate.
March 30 – A caller reported she was going to pick up her child and noticed a suspicious black male with shoulder-length hair in a black SUV. When she arrived, “he left in a hurry.”
March 31 – A woman reported someone ordered some items through her Apple account. She contacted her bank and changed her passwords. She did not know if money was stolen but she had the address of where the items were sent.
March 31 – An anonymous caller reported vandalism to some political signs for the Wisconsin Supreme Court election. The signs were between the Fulton Street and State Highway 22 exits on U.S. 10. The signs were spray painted.
March 31 – A male caller reported a man was very drunk and being violent with his family.
April 1 – An Employee at the Wisconsin Food Hub reported a fuel card was hacked and a total of $8,151fraudulent charges were on the account.
April 2 – Day of the Ice Storm: dispatchers are swamped with endless calls about fallen trees, down power lines, fires, and disabled vehicles. The ice-related calls are endless.
April 2 – On this day, there were hardly any calls about anything other than the ice storm. There were some requests for welfare checks on neighbors. One man reported he was being harassed by a woman who could not stop sending him text messages.
There were ten deer-related calls during this period. Three controlled burns were called in. A caller reported a “small rodent” was running down the middle of the road in Royalton. ThedaCare Waupaca reported a juvenile was bitten by the family dog.
