• July 28 – A woman requested a welfare check on a man that took off very upset in an SUV after being told he was going to be moved to a senior living facility. She said he has Alzheimer’s disease.
• July 28 – A caller reported a man violating his probation. He was living in Iola, smoking THC, drinking daily and “probably smoking meth.”
• July 28 – A man reported he was driving his motorcycle through a construction zone. He crashed his bike. No injuries. He said he was upset about the lack of signage.
• July 28 – A man reported that around 10:30 p.m. his wife heard a bang. The caller later found vehicle tracks in the grass and damage to his snowmobile trailer.
• July 29 – A caller reported a suspicious truck in a farm field with someone sleeping inside.
• July 29 – A man reported he had a video of an older male wearing a hoodie and coming onto his property. He was holding something in his hand.
• July 29 – A caller requested an ambulance for an 80-year-old woman that had a panic attack earlier. She just took an unknown amount of Tylenol and said she wants to die.
• July 29 – A caller reported a problem with a neighbor flying a drone over his property.
• July 29 – Rawhide Youth Services reported a disorderly scene where one youth attacked another with a fishing rod.
• July 29 – A caller reported an adult driving a WaveRunner was coming to close to the docks.
• July 29 – A man reported his ex-wife was using his boat without permission.

• July 30 – A man reported he was defrauded by sending $161 through an app for mechanic services.
• July 30 – A caller reported the brakes and tires on a semi were on fire. It was located near US Highway 10 and Old State Highway 49.
• July 30 –A man reported his ex-wife slapped him the night before and ruptured his ear drum.
• July 30 – A woman reported her friend was in a car with weed, cigarettes, vapes and moonshine. She sent suicidal text messages and said she was going to cut herself and “smoke until she dies.”

• July 31 – A man reported another man was driving by his house in a white Ford Ranger. The man had no reason to pass by his house and he said the man was harassing and “birddogging” him.
• July 31 – A caller reported a wake boat was driving too close to the docks and shoreline.
• Aug. 2 – A caller reported a black water-ski boat on Long Lake was taking on water and was tilted.
• Aug. 2 – A caller provided the names of two men and said, they “were at a campsite in Marion and stole approximately 60 prescription narcotics from a family member.”
• There were 10 deer-related calls during this period. Four controlled burns were called in. The water patrol stopped 14 boats. A caller reported a dog bit a child in the face. Theda Care New London reported a cat bit a woman. Twelve black cows were reported loose in the road. A caller reported a tree fell onto an electrical line and that started the ditch on fire. A caller reported a bald eagle was struck by a vehicle. It was still alive and in the ditch. The caller left a can of Monster energy drink to mark the eagle’s location. Theda Care reported a woman was bit by her own dog. A caller reported a brown horse with orange boots wandered away from a horse trailer and was loose.
