STEVENS POINT — Stephen Manasreh Decker plead guilty to four counts of possession of child pornography in addition to pleading no contest to one count of sexual assault of a child by a person who works or volunteers with children and one count of second degree sexual assault.
Decker was initially set to begin a four day jury trial on Jan. 27, 2026. This trial was intended to consolidate both cases against him. He faced charges related to what investigators describe as sexual assault that occurred with a 15-year-old foreign exchange student who lived in his home. Additionally, he faced charges in another case for possession of child pornography. In total, Decker was facing up 76 charges between the two cases.
On Feb. 6, 2026, Decker was present while in custody for a plea hearing. After reaching a plea deal, most of Decker’s charges were dismissed. According to court records, District Attorney Cass Cousins recommended 10 years of initial confinement for one case and 15 year of initial confinement for the other, it is not determined at this time if these sentences would run consecutively or concurrently. Sentencing is scheduled for April 1.
His $100,000 cash bond was revoked and Decker will remain in custody of the Portage County Sheriff’s Department until his sentencing.
Prior to his arrest, Decker founded Five Rings Martial Arts in 2013, where he taught children and adults martial arts.
