Posted

CLINTONVILLE – The only contested race on the ballot for the spring election April 7 for the city of Clintonville will be for mayor, as Jeannie Schley, a current member of the Clintonville Common Council will challenge incumbent mayor Steve Kettenhoven.
This will be the second straight election in which Kettenhoven will be challenged. The last time Kettenhoven was up for reelection, he defeated challenger Jim Supanich.
Schley currently represents District 4 as a member of the Clintonville Common Council.
Incumbents on the Clintonville Common Council who returned their candidacy paperwork by the deadline and will run unopposed in the election include: Stephanie Bonikowske, District 1; Brad Rokus, District 2; and Darrell Hansen, District 4.
Branden Schirpke, representing District 3, and Brandon Braden, representing District 5, each submitted non-candidacy paperwork and will not be running for reelection. No other candidates filed candidacy paperwork, despite the deadline to file being extended by a few days. District 3 and 5 will not have any candidates on the ballot.
