• Oct. 30 – A woman was struck by an e-bike on Clark Street.
• Oct. 30 – A woman was upset about not seeing her child and made threats to blow up a building.
• Oct. 30 – Officers were dispatched to Kim’s Barrel Inn regarding a stolen bike.
• Oct. 30 – Individuals were discharging a homemade propane-powered noise cannon on the HH Bridge by West River Drive.
• Oct. 30 – A 19-year-old man was walking with an open alcohol container on Division Street by the YMCA. The officer asked the man to stop and he then took off running. The man threw the open alcohol container on the ground. The man’s roommate was cooperative with the officer and provided him with information.
• Oct. 31 – A single-vehicle crash with a tree led to a driver refusing to submit to field a sobriety test, who was then arrested for Operating While under the Influence. The driver was released to a responsible party after a warrant was obtained for a blood draw.
• Oct. 31 – Officers were dispatched to Ben Franklin Junior High School for an after-the-fact complaint from a parent who stated a bus driver grabbed their son’s arm.
• Oct. 31 – A man was allowed by library staff to use a phone to contact the Salvation Army. The man began yelling on the phone at the Salvation Army and became angry, knocking over a chess piece and throwing a pencil. Security made the man leave and didn’t allow him to collect his belongings due to his anger. An officer later returned the man’s belongings.
• Oct. 31 – Officers were dispatched to Kash Park after dispatched advised a caller reported witnessing “homeless people smoking weed.” Contact was made with the individuals, but officers found no evidence of marijuana.
• Oct. 31 – A package was reported stolen from a College Avenue residence. Video footage of the theft was shown to officers.
• Oct. 31 – Officers were dispatched to a burglary report at Cozy Kitchen.
• Oct. 31 – A caller reported “suspicious juveniles” in Goerke Park by the ticket booth. The caller stated the lights to the ticket booth were off, but were then turned on once the juveniles were around the ticket booth.
• Nov. 1 – A call was made to 911 that stated someone had bit a chunk out of a man’s head. Officers made contact with the man who had a small mark on his head and a cut on his hand. The suspect would not come out of the house upon officer’s attempt at making contact.
• Nov. 1 – A caller stated their debit card was stolen the night before and used at a bar for a $42 charge.
• Nov. 1 – A woman stated she believed she may have been “drugged” at a party the night before and was getting tested at the hospital.
• Nov. 1 – A man reported his wallet was missing. He stated he found the Tile tracking device that was in his wallet, but no other items.
• Nov. 2 – A woman reported she had gone downstairs in her residence to find an unknown man sleeping on her couch. She described the man as wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and having brown hair.
• Nov. 2 – A small red SUV was allegedly parked on Kozy Street and a person lit a large firework from the vehicle’s passenger seat. After firing the firework, the vehicle quickly left with its headlights off. Residents in the area reported that the sound shook their houses but no damage was found.
• Nov. 2 – A man and woman were arguing about the woman not putting a lid on her coffee cup. The woman then threw the open coffee in the man’s face. The man did not want to pursue charges.
• Nov. 2 – A caller reported they were receiving threatening text messages that threatened blackmail against the caller for sending “flirtatious messages.”
• Nov. 3 – A man’s front door on Echo Dells Avenue was damaged while he was out of town.
• Nov. 3 – Officers were dispatched to the Aspirus Clinic on Vern Holmes Drive due to a disturbance with a patient.
• Nov. 3 – Officers responded to Songbird Lane for a report of a female that was unresponsive and cold to the touch.
• Nov. 4 – A man reported that he believed medication had been stolen from his Green Avenue residence.
• Nov. 5 – An officer was dispatched handle an over-the-phone fraud complaint. The caller informed the officer that approximately $37,500 was lost.
• Nov. 5 – A caller reported that a 43-year-old man stands at the corner of John’s Drive and Second Street and watches school kids walk by while muttering to himself. The caller stated that the man had followed a group of pedestrians towards their apartment while yelling at them.
• Nov. 6 – Stevens Point officers assisted the UWSP Police with a male who fled on foot. A UWSP officer deployed his taser on the suspect. Stevens Point officers assisted with the arrest and transported the 50 year-old man to jail.
• Nov. 6 – A man was found to be sleeping in the bushes on the UWSP Campus near Lot R. A bottle of alcohol was found next to the man.
• Nov. 6 – Officers were dispatched to The Square for a report of an ongoing physical fight. The fight had dispersed upon officer arrival. The victim did not wish to press charges.
