• January 5 – Owners of Acme Auto LLC arrived to their business to find numerous vehicles had been shot with orange paintballs.
• January 5 – A fraudulent $100 bill was reported at Pineries Bank on Main Street.
• January 5 – A woman was reportedly locked inside her house by her husband. She allegedly managed to get outside and go to the neighbor’s house for safety with her child.
• January 5 – An employee at a Church Street business allegedly began calling in numerous times within an hour and began swearing at staff and calling them racial slurs.
• January 5 – A noise complaint was reported at Blue Top on Church Street. Officers made contact with the room alleged to be the suspect in the noise complaint. The occupants stated they were having sexual intercourse and broke the headboard which then hit the wall and floor, leading to the loud noise. The officer noted a strong odor of THC, but that the odor was present in the entire building, not just the one room.
• January 6 – A man stated he was making a Wal-Mart delivery when the recipient allegedly aimed a firearm at him and told him to leave.
• January 6 – A man was asked to leave Covantage Credit Union by staff, but refused to leave. He left upon law enforcement arrival, but then turned towards officers and said, “I’ve got some bullets for ya,” before leaving the property.
• January 6 – Officers responded to Target for a man that assaulted another man after being asked to leave the store.
• January 7 – A man living on West Street advised dispatch that his ice auger was taken from his yard within the last week.
• January 7 – A Point of Discovery School student was caught with two nicotine vaping devices at school. The student is reportedly a repeat offender. The vapes were confiscated to be destroyed.
• January 8 – Officers responded to Pulaski Place for a male that was unresponsive and not believed to be breathing.
