• Feb. 9 – A woman was contacted at Blue Top on Church Street and arrested on a warrant.
• Feb. 9 – A needle was found on the ground near the sidewalk by Main Street and Prentice Street. The needle was disposed of.
• Feb. 9 – Officers were dispatched to Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital to investigate a negligent discharge of a firearm. A report was completed and sent to the District Attorney’s office.
• Feb. 9 – Officers responded to Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital for a report of a child who had ingested cannabis. CPS was contacted and a report was completed with charges • forwarded to the District Attorney for child neglect.
• Feb. 10 – A report was filed for a former employee embezzling from Fleet Farm on State Highway 10.
• Feb. 10 – A suspicious male was contacted and arrested on a Probation and Parole warrant. He was booked into jail.
• Feb. 10 – An officer took a report regarding blackmail. After meeting with the individual, a report was completed and forwarded to the Stevens Point Police Department Investigations Bureau.
• Feb. 11 – Residents on Yvonne Drive locked themselves out of their homes and requested assistance from law enforcement.
• Feb. 11 – A complaint was made about children not being buckled in when they leave from daycare. A Plover Police Department officer spoke with the driver and confirmed the children were actually buckled in.
• Feb. 11 – A man was reported to be walking north on I-39.
• Feb. 11 – A man was arrested on Northpoint Drive on a probation hold for assaultive behavior.
• Feb. 12 – A caller reported a man was making threats. An officer talked to the man about his comments and gave him a warning.
• Feb. 12 – A woman went to the police department and asked an officer to take her cyber hacking and harassment situation seriously.
• Feb. 12 – A student at Ben Franklin Junior High School got into a physical altercation with two students. They were cited for disorderly conduct.
• Feb. 12 – A woman reported possible “sextortion” from her soon-to-be ex-husband. She stated it occurred at an Amherst address and a Stevens Point address.
• Feb. 12 – A Ben Franklin Junior High School student refused to follow the School Resource Officer’s instructions to leave the school. A juvenile referral was submitted requesting a charge of resisting/obstructing a law enforcement officer.
• Feb. 12 – Officers responded to Minnesota Avenue for a report of property crime where a vehicle was egged.
