• Feb. 20 – An identity theft investigation is ongoing after a student and guidance counselor discovered a Free Application for Federal Student Aid application that was reported to police.
• Feb. 20 – A traffic stop on Maria Drive for a vehicle not using headlights led to the arrest of the driver for OWI 1st Offense.
• Feb. 21 – A firearm was negligently discharged at the Holiday Inn. There were no injuries and damage was minimal.
• Feb. 21 – A male made threatening gestures towards the police department on Michigan Avenue.
• Feb. 21 – A caller stated that a former friend had been making threats against other friends after he was un-invited from a party.
• Feb. 21 – An 18-year-old male was being threatened by a scammer for money.
• Feb. 22 – A 19-year-old male fell over downtown on Main Street due to being very intoxicated. He was advised to take the bus back to his dorm.
• Feb. 22 – A physical fight was reported in front of Icon on Main Street.
• Feb. 22 – Officers made contact with a male related to suspicious behavior. The male was then cited for underage drinking and ID card violation.
• Feb. 23 – A female employee at Dimension’s Assisted Living was allegedly stealing medication from residents. A report was sent to the District Attorney’s office.
• Feb. 23 – A student at PJ Jacobs Junior High School was issued a citation for being in possession of vapor products as a minor.
• Feb. 23 – After a vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at Maria Drive and Division Street, the driver was arrested for OWI.
• Feb. 24 – A juvenile reported a disturbance in Plover involving an adult striking a minor. The incident was documented and passed along to the Plover Police Department.
• Feb. 24 – A 35-year-old female stole candy from Kwik Trip on Maria Drive. She was arrested and released on a signature bond for misdemeanor retail theft.
• Feb. 24 – A 20-year-old male was reportedly in The Square and urinating in public and throwing trash on the ground. After this occurred, the male entered the passenger seat of a vehicle which then left The Square. Officers were able to locate the suspect at this address and issue him citations for Underage Drinking 4th Violation and Urinating/Defecating on Property without Owner’s Consent.
• Feb. 25 – A bank reported receiving a fraudulent $1 bill.
• Feb. 25 – A call at Kwik Trip off of Highway 10 for a confused male led to the male being transported via ambulance for a medical emergency.
• Feb. 26 – Officers responded to River View Avenue for a female walking in the middle of the roadway. She was located and advised to walk on the sidewalk. Shortly after this call, another call was made regarding the same female who was then trying to hitchhike. Upon, arrival she was found to be receiving a ride.
