• Feb. 27 – A 23-year-old woman was apprehended by Target staff after shoplifting. She received a citation from officers.
• Feb. 27 – A missing elderly man was located.
• Feb. 27 – A traffic stop on Church Street led to the arrest of a 64-year-old man for an OWI.
• Feb. 28 – A traffic stop initiated on First Street led to the arrest of a 30-year-old woman for OWI 2nd Offense, Operating While Revoked, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
• Feb. 28 – Officers responded to Main Street for a report of a man doing drugs. The 43-year-old man was arrested for Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
• Feb. 28 – A local security guard found pills scattered on a city sidewalk on Main Street. An officer picked the pills up and disposed of them.
• Feb. 28 – A disturbance over cards led to one male being arrested for Disorderly Conduct.
• March 1 – A traffic stop on Clark Street ended with the arrest of the 28-year-old passenger for a warrant and obstruction.
• March 1 – A 55-year-old woman walked out of Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital with an IV in her arm. Upon contact, she informed officers she was okay and later returned for treatment. She stated she was upset due to how slow her medical treatment was taking.
• March 1 – A 14-year-old male was being scammed by someone online for gift cards.
• March 1 – Officers responded to Target for a retail theft. One 19-year-old female was cited and trespassed from the property.
• March 2 – A welfare check was conducted for a report of an unresponsive male. The male was fine, and officers discovered the male’s nephew fabricated the story.
• March 2 – Officers moved three people along who has been sleeping by the library.
• March 3 – A suspicious voicemail was left for the Salvation Army. An officer contacted the caller, but the caller stated they had no idea what the officer was talking about.
• March 3 – A citation was issued to a Stevens Point Area Senior High School student who was vaping in class.
• March 3 – A mother reported that her child’s phone was broken by another child in their neighborhood.
• March 5 – A male was found sleeping in the floor lobby of Briggs Street High Rise apartments. He was then moved along and trespassed.
• March 5 – Officers responded to Culvers on Highway 10 for a group of teenagers who were shining lasers at people. The 18-year-old and 19-year-old were advised to stop and their parents were notified.
