Waupaca defeats Oconto Falls in North Eastern Conference meeting

The Waupaca Comets hosted Oconto Falls on April 23, in a North Eastern conference matchup.

In the bottom of the first inning, the Comets took a 1-0 lead as a Jay Card line drive single to left field to bring John Zeamer in to score.

Max Dolski singled to center field to drive in a run and make the score 2-0 in the second inning.

Jacob Durrant drove in Dougie Williams on a single to center field to go up 3-0.
For the second time, Card singled to drive in Zeamer as it extended Waupaca’s lead to make the score 4-0.

Oconto Falls cut the Comets lead to 4-2 after a two run double in the sixth inning, and a sacrifice fly drove in a run to make it a 4-3 game.

Max Dolski added an insurance run to make the final score 5-3 in the bottom of the sixth inning as Waupaca went to 6-4 on the season.
