STEVENS POINT — A man sustained serious injuries as a result of a single motorcycle crash on July 9. Stevens Point police officers and the Stevens Point Fire Department reported to the area of Fremont Street and Jefferson Street for a single vehicle crash. Officers and medical personnel located a 44-year-old man who was the lone rider of the motorcycle. The man had sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash and was airlifted to a local hospital. According to a media release, alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash.
