Metro Market adds in-store bar

STEVENS POINT — Metro Market, located at 1500 Pinecrest Avenue, is ready to debut their new in-store bar to offer a shopping and sipping experience.
The first of its kind in the central Wisconsin region, the in-store bar features three televisions for entertainment, 24 seats, and six bar seats for customers to enjoy a variety of drinks. Alternatively, customers can enjoys their drinks on the go and sip while they shop. Drink selections range from five rotating tap beers, red and white wine choices, hard seltzers, root beer, and non-alcoholic beer options. The menu also consists of a handful of food items.
Metro Market will celebrate the grand opening of their new in-store bar on Jan. 30 from 4-7 p.m. and Jan 31 from noon to 3 p.m. The grand opening will include a DJ, food and drink samples from local vendors, in addition to a visit from Packer Hall of Famer, LeRoy Butler, who will be at the store from 1-2 p.m. on Jan. 31 to celebrate the opening.
