Monk’s closes after seven years

PLOVER — Monk’s Bar & Grill, located at 1400 Commerce Place, has officially closed their doors following seven years of business in Plover. The restaurant closed following their last day of service on May 1.
The announcement was made on their social media page, stating in part, “The decision comes after an accepted offer to purchase our building, and we wish the next business great success.”
In June 2019, Monk’s Bar & Grill opened their Plover location in what was formerly the Golden Corral building. According to Monk’s website, they have remaining locations open in Wisconsin Dells, Middleton, and Sun Prairie.
