Northbound Hoover Road to close at CTH HH

STEVENS POINT — Northbound Hoover Road will be closed to all traffic at the intersection of County Trunk HH while crews complete utility tie-ins as part of the new development in the northeast corner of CTH HH and Hoover Road. A detour will be installed to route traffic around the project area.
Crews anticipate completing the work by the end of the day on Aug. 28, at which time traffic control will be removed, and the northbound lanes will open back up to traffic.
This closure will affect the current Business 51 Southside Reconstruction Project’s detour. Traffic will be routed east to the CTH HH and I-39 interchange, north to the West STH-66 and I-39 interchange, west to Country Club Drive, then south to Industrial Park Road/Patch Street.
Following completion of the work, the original Business 51 Southside Reconstruction Project detour will be reinstalled.
