• October 17 – A woman was issued two hit and run citations on Walter Street.
• October 17 – A caller reported their yard decorations on Briggs Street were “damaged by intoxicated college kids.”
• October 17 – An officer responded to Stevens Point Area High School to meet with parents in regards to their missing daughter and a fight she may have been involved in earlier that day.
• October 17 – A Fleet Farm employee reported finding a purse in the women’s restroom that contained “a lot of cash.” Employees did not feel comfortable holding onto the purse.
• October 17 – A man stated he met a woman on a dating app. He stated they went to an adult store in Stevens Point where he purchased lingerie and other items for her totaling $500. He then claimed they went to Walmart where she ditched him.
• October 18 – An officer was flagged down on Division Street in reference to a man who had been punched in the face. One man was cited for disorderly conduct. A second man was arrested on a probation hold.
• October 18 – A one vehicle crash led to a woman being issued a citation for failure to notify law enforcement of an accident.
• October 18 – The Crisis Hotline was contacted by a person claiming to be in the Stevens Point area and planned on harming two people. The person claimed to be planning harm a person picking them up and their counselor. The caller claimed to have a knife.
• October 18 – A bike was reported stolen out of a shared apartment complex bike room on Centerpoint Drive.
• October 18 – A bike was reported stolen from PJ Jacobs Junior High School.
• October 18 – Two vehicles were observed to be street racing on Division Street.
• October 18 – A woman was given a citation for inattentive driving after being observed watching a show on her phone while driving.
• October 19 – A woman was reported to be in the bathroom at Politos Pizza for an extended period of time and being non-responsive to her friends. Officers forced the door open and checked on her.
• October 19 – Officers observed two women fighting. When officers attempted to break up the fight, a man interjected himself and interfered with the officers attempt to stop the fight.
• October 19 – A man was attacked and beaten up in the Stevens Point Library parking lot, resulting in lacerations and a chipped tooth.
• October 19 – A woman exposed her breasts several times while in the Salvation Army. She was told that behavior would not be allowed, and she then exposed her breasts again. When she was told to leave, she made a comment to her roommate about punching the front desk worker.
• October 20 – A vehicle reportedly left West Side Mobil without paying for gas.
• October 20 – A man was cited for shoplifting after an incident at Fleet Farm.
• October 20 – Officers were dispatched to Madison Street for a report of a burning towel on a caller’s porch. Officers were unable to determine the cause of the fire at the time.
• October 20 – A caller believed someone may have been squatting at a West River Drive residence. Evidence was found of someone living in the garage along with some illicit substances.
• October 21 – One student at Ben Franklin Junior High School received a citation for disorderly conduct after being involved in a physical altercation in a bathroom.
• October 21 – Officers responded to Central Point Learning Center on Clark Street for a complaint of two students destroying school property and causing a disturbance.
• October 21 – A woman reported her daughter’s bike was stolen from West River Drive.
• October 21 – A woman reported receiving multiple phone calls from an unknown, possibly intoxicated, man. On the fourth call, the woman answered the phone and caller stated her daughter (by name) was a cheater and he knew where they lived.
• October 21 – A man stated he had caught a man on camera unplugging his Halloween décor.
• October 22 – Kwik Trip on Church Street reported that a male stole approximately $87.69 worth of merchandise.
• October 22 – A man reported his vehicle was stolen in the Marshfield area and it was posted for sale on Facebook Market Place in the Stevens Point area.
• October 22 – A suspicious female came to a West Pleasant Street residence and identified herself as a private investigator and was looking to make contact with a resident in the home.
• October 23 – A man reported his vehicle’s license plate was stolen off the back of his vehicle.
• October 23 – A woman reported her ex-boyfriend had threatened her by alleging his brother would travel all the way from Pennsylvania to Stevens Point to attack her. An officer spoke with the ex-boyfriend and he stated he was upset that their breakup had not been smooth and that the woman’s new boyfriend had been harassing him.
