• July 10 – A man was found near Riverfront Art Center in possession of alcohol while charging a device with the center’s outlet. He was issued a citation for open intoxication, using city power outlets and loitering.
• July 10 – An officer located two individuals who were “leg locked and making out heavy with their clothes on.” The officer told the two individuals to stop and move along.
• July 10 – A vehicle was stopped on Division Street for speeding and blowing black smoke out of the muffler. The officer could smell alcohol coming from the vehicle and noted that all passengers in the car were under the age of 21.
• July 10 – A vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign on Old Wausau Road. The officer noted that the vehicle seemed to be a road rage incident with another vehicle. Both parties in the vehicles knew each other and were warned about their driving behavior.
• July 11 – A driver was arrested on Maria Drive for OWI after blowing a 0.13.
• July 11 – A 63-year-old woman lost $998 through a scam that originated from a Facebook Marketplace sale.
• July 11 – Dunhams Sports reported a retail theft of $2,617.94 in sporting gear.
• July 11 – A woman reported a man was possibly masturbating in his yard on Madison Street. Officers were unable to locate the man.
• July 12 – A riding lawnmower was reported to be on fire on Welsby Avenue.
• July 12 – An individual reported someone had stolen a lawn mower, an air conditioning unit, and additional items from their home on First Street.
• July 12 – A man was trespassed from Antique Up after an officer observed him lying in the bushes behind the building.
• July 13 – Officers were dispatched to Fifth Avenue for a report of a disturbance between significant others. One significant other reported the other had threatened them with a gun. Officers spoke with both parties and no firearms were brought out. The pair was then separated.
• July 13 – A 43-year-old man made threats to a pharmacist at Metro Market over the phone.
• July 13 – A call about a disturbance between two roommates led to one man being arrested for disorderly conduct and felony bail jumping.
• July 14 – A handgun was found near Main Street and Cross Street.
• July 14 – A woman reported that her ex-boyfriend allegedly shares intimate photos of her in retaliation for their breakup.
• July 15 – During a traffic stop, a man was issued a citation for operated and revocation and obstruction. The man was initially driving but switched seats with the female passenger. He provided officers with a false name.
• July 15 – Officers were dispatched to the area of West Clark Street and West Zinda Drive for a welfare check. The woman was located and concerned about a raccoon she had run over.
• July 16 – A man was highly intoxicated and walked into the wrong apartment. He had locked himself out of his own apartment and thought he was entering his friend’s apartment. A neighbor allowed the man to sleep in their apartment until he could find his keys.
• July 16 – An officer reported finding three individuals camping in some bushes near West Clark Street.
• July 16 – A woman reported Spectrum continues to come onto her property despite having no soliciting and no trespassing sings in her yard. She is worried her dogs may bite them if they return and she would be held liable.
• July 16 – Officers were called to a Pine Street address for a report of a man being chased with a knife. The caller stated they were locked in a closet. Officers attempted contact at the address with no response. When dispatch called the caller back, the caller stated they were now in Walmart. The caller would not provide their name to dispatch.
• July 16 – A woman reported finding a meth pipe in a port-a-potty.
• July 16 – Officers were notified of a man that stated he was going to drive to Stevens Point to commit suicide. The man was located in Wausau.
• July 17 – A man reported a woman was following him around to multiple bars. The woman stated she lives with the man, but they had recently broken up. She claimed the man requested she give him a ride home, but he kept moving to different bars and she stated she wanted to determine a plan to get home. The man told officers he did not need a ride home.
• July 17 – Officers informed a 73-year-old woman that she can’t sleep at the post office.
