• July 17 – An electric scooter was reported stolen from a Fourth Avenue property.
• July 17 – A 38-year-old man received a warning for failing to stop his electric scooter at a stop sign.
• July 17 – A man presented an officer with a song he wrote in honor a deputy and as a tribute to all law enforcement. He requested the officer forward the song to all other law enforcement on the department.
• July 17 – A man reported his wife had sent him abusive text messages while she had a temporary restraining order against him.
• July 17 – A flock camera was damaged on West Clark Street.
• July 17 – A man at Walgreens on Church Street was reportedly grabbing items and “putting it in his pants” while shopping. The 87-year-old man was located and found to have a bottle of nasal spray in his pocket. He agreed to pay for the item.
• July 17 – A man reported he believes his neighbor is moving a stick that marks their property. He stated he believed the neighbor was doing this as they are selling their home and allegedly want their yard to appear bigger than it is. The man stated he believes officers need to talk to his neighbor in regards to this incident.
• July 18 – A 63-year-old man was found lying down by parking spots on The Square. A welfare check was made which discovered the man had probation conditions that did not allow him to drink. The man admitted to drinking and provided a PBT reading of 0.172.
• July 18 – A man was trespassed from Forest Cemetery after he was found sleeping there with a sleeping bag.
• July 18 – A man with Alzheimer’s took a Brewer’s flag from someone’s yard. It was later located and returned.
• July 18 – A package was reported stolen from a Robert Place address.
• July 19 – A 30-year-old man was arrested for OWI 2nd offense after he was found to be traveling at high rates of speed on Clark Street.
• July 19 – A 34-year-old woman reported she was outside of Top Hat Bar with her friend. She stated seven males approached her friend and asked her for a ride. The woman got upset and a verbal altercation led to the woman pushing one of the men on the shoulders.
• July 19 – While investigating a two vehicle crash near Division Street and North Point Drive, a driver was arrested for OWI 5th offense.
• July 19 – A 32-year-old woman had been told to leave a gas station on West Clark Street by employees. She was intoxicated and did not leave. Officers located the woman on the side of the building and eating condiments. The woman stated she wanted an ambulance and was transported to the hospital.
• July 19 – A 47-year-old man backed his vehicle into a stone pillar in the PJ Jacob’s Junior High School parking lot.
• July 20 – A woman allegedly punched the father of her children, threatened to kill him, kill herself, and kill another unnamed individual. The woman left the scene prior to law enforcement arrival and was not located. Probation issued a warrant for her arrest.
• July 20 – A woman at the La Quinta Inn believed she was being followed by her ex-husband from Indiana. She also informed officers that she believed her neighbors next door were poisoning her with paint thinner fumes through her air conditioning unit. She stated she saw a pipe going from her neighbor’s room to her room.
• July 20 – A 17-year-old driver received citations for driving 41 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone and having no proof of insurance. She was warned for not wearing a seatbelt.
• July 20 – A 62-year-old woman took an ice cream treat valued at $3 from Fuel On without paying. The gas station on West Clark Street asked that the woman be trespassed.
• July 20 – A 48-year-old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of Dahl on Highway 10.
• July 20 – A woman on Water Street returned to her home to find two doors of her residence were open.
• July 20 – A previously trespassed male entered Kwik Trip on Church Street. He approached an employee in the kitchen and asked her to “cut the (expletive) pizza.” The employee and manager asked he be cited for the incident and to be trespassed indefinitely.
• July 20 – An officer advised some juveniles not to jump from the West Clark Street Bridge into the river.
• July 21 – A mother stated her child did not want to do chores, so she turned the internet off as a result. The child became upset and packed a bag full of toys. The child walked outside and played with some toys before heading down the road to a neighbor’s residence.
• July 21 – A 48-year-old woman entered someone’s garage on Clark Street. She stated she did so because she was having heart problems and wanted to go to the hospital. She later denied wanting to go to the hospital or in an ambulance. Her 83-year-old mother then picked her up.
• July 22 – An officer found a 39-year-old man was lying face down in a construction area that had been taped off. He was highly intoxicated, had trouble walking, and had blood on his face.
• July 22 – A 21-year-old woman was found passed out in the alley behind Top Hat Bar. She was highly intoxicated and had an abrasion on her forehead. She refused medical care and was transported to her friend’s residence.
• July 22 – A 31-year-old man was located at the Southside BP making an employee uncomfortable. He was asking questions about if the employee was single and if she was alone. He was found to be “lurking” around the store. Officers advised the man he was trespassed from the gas station.
• July 23 – A report was made about a woman that had been possibly beat up by a man near the Clark Street Bridge. Officers made contact with the woman who was intoxicated and did not want to provide her name to law enforcement. She provided her name to medics and would not discuss anything that had happened.
• July 24 – A man was found unconscious by the pool at Country Inn and Suites. An officer gave the man a sternum rub and he became responsive. The man had been enjoying the hot tub and fell asleep after having too much to drink.
